Outman's Landscape Design and Consulting is located in Battle Ground, Washington and serves the greater Vancouver and Portland area of the Pacific Northwest. We believe in a hands-on approach to design and find it very important for the client to be involved with every step of the process. One may ask "why work with a Landscape Designer? Can't the landscape contractor do that? The answerer is simple but not short.

1. Landscape Contractors build, that is what they do. They may have great ideas, but their job is putting in your yards. It is a Designers job to go the extra mile and cater every detail of your yard to you. So you know you are getting what you want.
2. Every project has a budget. It is up to the designer to work within the budget you have for your project.
3. If you want to get estimates for your job it is best if it is on the same design. If you contact many Landscape Contractors and each of them gives you an idea and a price to go with that idea. You will be unable to compare prices in the end, being that they are not bidding on the same thing.
